Villa Vistaero
A three Bed roomed
villa in a quiet and secluded position set in its own large garden
with view to the Sierra Almijara and the Southern Spanish Coast
Our Villa will accommodate
up to six people in one twin and two double rooms. There is a
fully equipped kitchen ( gas hob Electric oven washing machine
microwave etc.) a large dining area a lounge and a covered arched
patio. Outside we have a new tiled BBQ and lovely 8.5 x 3m swimming
pool.
We are about an hours
drive from Malaga airport eastwards along the Mediterranean highway
and up into the mountains. It takes about 25 minutes to drive
from the villa down to the coast where there are all the usual
seaside attractions, restaurants, night life, golf courses etc.
being in the hills has the advantage of peace and tranquillity
and slightly lower temperatures.
A hire car is essential
as we are 5km from the nearest town - Competa, and there is little
public transport. We hire ours from the airport - cost around
£12 per day. We will provide clear directions to Pavo Real,
a restaurant where you will be met and taken to Villa Vistaero
to be shown how everything works. Mike or Steve who live nearby
meet and greet our guests. They are mines of information and will
help if there are any problems.
Competa is a delightful
town and can provide just about anything to cater for everyday
living. it has two supermarkets, chemist, bakery, fishmonger plus
numerous gift shops and excellent restaurants. The food on offer
here is of the highest standard and at far lower prices than at
home.
Of course there is
more to staying at our villa than sitting by the pool. We have
a lovely garden full of fruit trees including oranges, lemons,
figs, avocados and almonds. for those who like walking, we have
several detailed walks through some stunning countryside, starting
and finishing at the villa.
Further afield, a
short journey to the coast will take you to Nerja, an up market
town with excellent shopping. A holiday at Villa Vistaero can
provide something for everyone!
Our Villa is looked
after by a small group of friends who we know well and they will
make sure everything is clean and tidy for your arrival. A telephone
number for one of them will be provided for the meet and great
and any little problems.

and I have owned this villa for two years during which time we
have updated and improved the facilities. This year we are tiling
the swimming pool and modernising the bathroom ready for Easter
2007.
Vistaero is very
much our home as well as a holiday destination and we hope that
if you choose to stay at the villa you will be as seduced by its
charms as we were when we first saw it.
We have made several
trips to Vistaero and have accumulated quite a lot of information
about days out, walks, places to eat, car hire etc. Please get
in touch with us if require any additional information and we
will try to help.
