Ken who is in charge
of the kitchen is an internationally renowned chef, and a Master
Chef of Great Britain. He was the first chef to open a restaurant
in Ludlow in 1994, gaining international recognition and many
prestigious awards for his cooking at the Oaks.
Our menus based,
as they are on home grown (from Isabel's garden) and local or
organic produce, evolve with the seasons as the produce becomes
available, seafood is delivered fresh off Cornish day boats.

The restaurant is
open to non-residents as well as houseguests offering lunches
and dinners throughout the year please note bookings only.
Table preference
- the restaurant is divided into two rooms, The Old Tap Room and
the Sun Room, we have noticed that some people prefer one to the
other, if you do have a preference please let us know. Although
on quieter evenings especially during winter months we only use
the Old Tap Room.

Only Tuesday to Sunday Lunch from 12am last orders 1pm Tuesday
to Saturday Dinner 7pm last orders 9pm

Table sizes: The
largest table normally served is for a party of six people, but
for special bookings with a set menu- not Saturday dinners or
Sunday Lunch- we can accommodate parties of twelve.
Children: Normally
we only allow children twelve years or older for dinner, Lunch
Times we have no age limit. Please take note it is an offence
for an individual under 18 to consume alcohol and for anyone who
had the authority to stop him to allow him so to do. The exception
where the consumption is to be on the premises, is where the child
is aged between 16 and 17 and is accompanied by an adult and is
having a table meal. In those circumstances, the only alcohol
that they are allowed to consume is wine, beer or cider.
